Class Evaluation

I like the positivity that Mr. Haymore brings into our classroom because it makes me work better knowing that Mr. is positive encourages everyone. The honesty and the good tips he gives helps a lot to not do many mistakes in our life and i like the assignments he gives us are very interesting.

I don't really dislike anything about the classroom

I feel that it’s pretty good already and does not need no changes.

The highlights of this class is when we learn about a new career and have to research it ourselves because it gives me another option if i like it to my future career or learnings if it grabs my interest.

I did try hard on this class but i do not know if i applied myself 100 percent as other students. I did dedicate some of my time and work to some of the assignments given in this class but  don’t complete put my effort in all assignments but next semester i will treat this class with more seriousness and will apply myself to this class and all other classes.

Sometimes i do but forget to report them but other times i just was too lazy or forgot my journal in my locker but one of my goals in that journal is to fix this problem i have and dedicate time and hard work to this 5 min assignment.

I am committed to being a ctr person because i know it’s the right path to take, if i don't i might make many bad choices and regret it later and that why i will act now before this happens.

A lie is a very bad thing to say because you can get in trouble and others as well. You will cause damage and will effect everyone, it's better to come clean and say the peer truth rather than coming full of lies because you will just use lies to cover up more and more lies and will hurt you after a while. Parents do not usually educate their children this way and why will they grow up with that kind of thinking because sooner or later the truth will come out and you will be in trouble. Every lie you tell will come back to you and if you don’t want to suffer the consequences you have caused it’s better to go back and tell the truth. Be honest with yourself and others because once you tell one lie whether it’s big or small, people won’t be able to trust you because with one lie a lot can change.

The story of a boy who disobeyed his parents. The little boy was always told by his parents to put on shoes because of the danger that is in the desert. The boy ignored them because he said he was no going to go far and was just going to use sandles and then got stung by a scorpion and then the pain went up his leg and went to the hospital. He had learn to not disobey his parents and to not be rebellious no more because any bad action you do it will come back to you. You will suffer the consequences sooner or later.

In life we all must do the right things because no will be mad at you or disappointed in you. Even so there is no excuse in doing wrong because you had to 2 choices and you chose the wrong path therefore it's your responsibility to fix things and do the right thing. You are lying to yourself and hurting yourself by doing bad things. Your goal should be accomplished by doing the right things in the correct way without hurting yourself or other. You now know the correct path to take and you know if you accomplished your goal fairly or the wrong way. The guilt will always chase you because you know yourself you did wrong instead of doing the right thing.

    Many people like to be alone when they are trying to study or do homework and it’s not because they are socially awkward, it’s because they are applying himself to do good. It's better to do good than to do bad because you chose the wrong friends. Sometimes you must be smart and chose wisely there friends because this situation can affect them. It's better to be alone than doing something bad and taking the guilt for it later. If you let others control you what good can that do for you.

What countries fought against whom in WW2?

In one side of the war was Germany, Italy, and Japan. On the other side were the allies. Which included, Britain, France, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, India, the Soviet Union, China, and the United States.

Where did WW2 occur?

World War 2 occurred all over the globe like East Asia, Europe and the islands in the Pacific Ocean and  Some fighting was seen as far away as the Aleutian Islands, Madagascar and South America.

• Hitler commits suicide, shortly before the fall of Berlin and surrender of German forces in Europe.

How can we honor and show respect for WW2 veterans?

We show respect by:

•  Donate to the USO.
•  Volunteer at a local USO Chapter.
•  Say “thank you.”  It’s such a small, simple gesture that is completely disproportionate to the sacrifice soldiers make for us, but they really do appreciate it.
• Place flowers/flags on the graves of veterans.
•  Proudly display your American flag.

Challenges Teens Face Today

1.) What are several of the major challenges teens deal with today?

Teens deal with stress about school, home, maybe work, growing up, drugs alcohol.

2.) What are one or two major Challenges You are dealing with today? What are you doing about them?  The stress about doing good at school, to finish the homework assignments and to take care of my sister, and doing all the things around my house. I am trying to finish everything at school like that at home i don’t have to worry or i try to finish all my chores in one day to have other days free to do homework.

3.) How does being a CTR person help you to overcome any challenge you may face?

Being a CTR person helps me because it won’t let me drop the only two  responsibilities to the trash, because i can complete both task and will not stop.

4.) How can you help other teens to overcome their challenges?
Just reminding them that they are not the only one’s suffering and that they must stay strong and overcome the stress or worryness.

To grow up and not feel stress for bullying or school and for them to not get controlled.

If you have a strong dream you must have a strong will to keep it. When it the physical fitness you got to feel pain in order to gain the strength. Because there is no shortcut to this type of this and if there is you should earn it no cheat your way into a fit body. When you decide to earn that physical strength we all must avoid drugs and alcohol. Your body needs that physical activity because and the skill and intelligence will lack if you are lacking as well and eventually you will get sick and your intelligence and skills will start acting up and be to lazy to do anything. If you choose the wrong you get the wrong and will suffer the consequences. If you choose the right it will all come back to you, kindness, appreciation, forgiveness, thankfulness, and love.

Health Sciences Librarian

Duties and responsibilities:

The Health Sciences Librarian provides other people with with medical info through books, pamphlets, Journals, Multimedia presentation, and the internet. This type of job helps inform patient, or students about a medical disease.

Salary:

This the Average of what a health sciences librarian gets payed $58,000.

Education:

Whe must have a high school diploma, had to take classes such as english math science and typing. Must earn a Bachelor's degree in science and computer science and its mandatory to have a masters degree in librarian science.

Requirements:

Must take classes of scientific literature, biomedical communication, bibliographic resource use, library organization and management, and standard cataloging systems. While health science librarians are not required to be certified, the Medical Library Association does offer certification examinations which would help a librarian advance to a higher position.

Reflection:

I would not like to study although i appreciate the work done by these people and i would like to have a job very similar to this one, where you inform others and make them smile by letting them know what the best choice to make to not get sick.

In this world there is no such thing as a great man if they are not kind to others because kindness is the key to greatness. If someone truly desires to be great person they must act like it by kindness because the kindness is the ticket to greatness and everyone will admire you and follow the right path.

Thanksgiving week

 This thanksgiving week we had off,was a very calm week and spent it with my brother and sister. Early in the week i sat down and read a book because i had lots of time to waste. Then later on the week the routine was the same. Then the day of thanksgiving in the morning my mom and sister and myself went to the movie theater to watch Moana. Later on the day my mom left to work and my brother stayed shopping. So then my sister and i ate noodle soup and pizza and that was our great thanksgiving dinner. It was Black Friday and all the people went crazy for everything and my dad also. My dad wanted to go to the mall because the the sales going on and he bought me and my sister something.Then Sunday i finished the little homework i did not finish in the week and continued my day sitting in the living room watching TV.

Education of parents is the most important type of education to children because how their parents teach them that is how they are going to be when they grow up. Parents should be inform if they do not teach their kids good manners their kid will struggle in life because he might be disrespectful towards other and might be hated. If this happens they will be a bad person for going in the wrong path, parents should take the time to teach children manners for future opportunities in order for them to become good people. In life there should be respect towards other inorder for them to be well and fit in society and be in the good side with manners.

 This quote is basically saying that any bad action that is offered to you, do not do it because deep in you, you don’t want to do it and you know it’s wrong and should give it up. And if you did something wrong and trying to cover it up with a lie because with that one lie you are affecting many other people and if you say some lie it's better to not say it.

   Thanksgiving is celebrated in different parts of the world. When The U.S celebrated thanksgiving they invited the Native Americans to join them on their feast. In return the Native Americans killed 5 deers to take to the dinner but originally there was no turkey and they did not make this an annual tradition. In 1789 on a thursday of November 26 when George Washington made the first national thanksgiving feast in the U.S. but still not a tradition until the 19th century. Sera Josepha Hale an American Writer wanted to remake the american feast again and in 1827 she was fighting to make it a national holiday but did not succeed until 1857. Then she made any recipes of thanksgiving food like pumpkin pie and turkey.

I am thankful for this great year I had and the time i spent at school.

       Winning is a good feeling to have because you proved yourself you can do it and the feeling of losing is teaches you how to do better next time and how you can improve. A better feeling is than winning and losing is doing what's right because once you do a good action and you know that you did something that can benefit someone else but you gain nothing. It is a great feeling know that you helped someone out without anything back. It's better to be fair about the situation and do the right thing and not the feeling of winning or losing it better the feeling of helping and be honorable.

             Veterans Day

                                                           November 11

What?:  Veterans day is a federal holiday honors the brave men and women of the armed forces who risk their lives to protect our freedom. They include members of the US Army, Navy, Marine Corps, National Guard, Air Force, and the Coast Guard.

When?: Friday November, 11

Why?: The purpose is to celebrate the end of the war in 1918 and end the suffering of fellow comrades. To thank all the people who sacrificed themselves in the war.

Why?: We show honor in veterans day because we stand proud and enjoy our freedom that all the war members gave to us.

Honor and respect on veterans day:

1. Visit a wounded veteran at the hospital.
2. Offer your home repair skills to a veteran or military family.
3. Create an online neighborhood user group that can be used to share information about neighborhood activities, recommend reliable repair companies, and find babysitters. An online group may also help identify the needs of your neighbors.
4. Volunteer your financial, legal, or career expertise via MilServe.
5. Deliver a meal or care packages to veterans.

Reflection: I feel very grateful towards the people who risked their lives to free us and they all deserve to rest in peace and thank them that we all have freedom thanks to them. We would not be here if it was not for them.

  Teens are always influenced by one of the people they hang out and they can have good influence on them or bad but the most important thing is that you don’t want to become like them. They must not become like them because if they do they will just be another bad influence to others. In order to stay good do good and you should try to be one of those good influence. Teens are very gullible to the situation they are in and just go with it. Don’t get fooled and don’t get dragged to the bad side of the story.

The right thing to do is not the most cool thing to do but it will keep you out of trouble and people will trust you if they know you are a good person to help out and they know you won’t do anything bad. There should always be a brave soul to stand up for what's right. Many people ask themselves what is bad and good in this world? They try to act superior to other. We must make the right decisions and if others don’t agree on it we must learn how to make those decisions by yourself and stand alone if you have to, but you know you chose the right thing you will have no regrets.
