                                "We learn to do by doing"

               When you learn how to do thing you want to go and do it to experience ti. For example you 

someone teaches you how to do a math problem but you don't get it you have to do it yourself in order to understand it. So if you learn the things when you do it not when others do it for you. That is what the quote "We learn to do by doing" that is the meaning. Our actions in life have a big impact and if you are doing something bad and has those bad habits you learn that by doing it bad. We must learn how to experience our own doings and will not learn if someone else does it for you. We must have our own life and experience our own things. Like bad things, good things, education, activities and life. We get what we give and take what we earn. 

                     

Emergency Medical Technician

Duties and responsibilities:  The emergency medical technician has three stages an it depends on your skills. The first one is Basic and you have to

• Controlling bleeding
• Bandaging injuries
• Splinting broken bones  
• Using automated external defibrillators

Then is intermediate

• Cardiac monitoring
• Administering IV treatment
• Performing advanced airway techniques

The last one is that is is a paramedic, Evaluating medical record, Providing  blood transfusion And  perform nasogastric

Salary:   $32,951 and a  Range between $29,697 - $37,780

Education:

Many community colleges also offer associate's degree programs at the paramedic level. In general, basic and intermediate emergency medical technician training can be completed in six months, while paramedic training may take one to two years to complete, depending on whether you choose to earn a certificate or an associate's degree.

Demand or need for profession:

Most states require you to complete a certificate program in emergency medical technician training in order to qualify for state or national certification exams.

                    This quote means that you can make your own choices and you can be who ever you want. You can choose to be a good person or a bad one, it all depends on you. For example, if you get bad grades it doesn't mean that you are bad student and has to be mean to everyone just because the people expect that from you, it can also happen the other way around. Like if you are a not behaved student at school that does not mean you are like that at home, just act like you normal self and try to fit in with people, don't be bad or mean just because you want to get accepted and be popular. Don't let people control your personality and don't control other people. Your doing this for your self other people wont feel your happiness or your misery, let them experience it on their own and let them choose their fate. 

           Ear Nose Throat Doctor

Duties and responsibilities:

Otolaryngologists are the oldest medical specialty in the united states. This career is focused on treating patient that have diseases or disorders with ears, nose, or throat.

Salary:

Otolaryngology (ENT)

Education:

“To qualify for certification from the American Board of Otolaryngology, an applicant must first complete college, medical school (usually four years), and at least five years of specialty training.”

Demand or need for this profession:

“An ENT specialist is ready to start practicing after up to 15 years of college and postgraduate training.  Next, the physician must pass the American Board of Otolaryngology examination to be certified. Some ENT specialists pursue a one- or two-year fellowship for more extensive training in one of the seven subspecialty areas.”

   Being obedient is easy because all you need to do is obey and follow the rules. For example in this country every kid has to go to school and all you have to do is follow that rule and just go to school. If you obey and just do the right thing you will feel happy and remain happy. If you are a kid you need to obey your school and your parents/gradients.  If you just choose the right and be obedient you will not have any regrets, and will work your way up in being a happy person. This is one part of life that has to be done. Everything has an explanation and many is just to stay safe and not have bat habits of being disobedient and not following the rules.

                                  LAUSD Student Services

        Students in Lausd are important to the schools, they believe we are smart and that we are their future.They expect us to learn and graduate form a school and go straight College/University.  Lausd is preparing us for the future and for us to choose a job/career that love or interest us. They also want us to improve our slo's which are Critical Thinking, Problem Solving,Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity.

Reflection: 

I feel that Lausd is helping student get an education, graduate, and get a career they love. I have really learn a lot with the schools connected to Lausd. They are teaching a new way to think, to learn and solve a problem. I am happy they are doing so much for students can learn and get get a good education.

                     What John wooden means by this quote is that as a person it is more important what you do for yourself and others. For example he got famous and could of easily retire  because he would of had ton of money but that is not what he did. Instead of leaving, he stayed not only because he liked his job but also because he enjoyed helping other realize their full potential. John helped in many different places and was glad to help. Maybe it was his teaching that helped the team work together and win many games. "You haven't taught until they have learned."

  

                  Graphic Designer

Duties and responsibilities: Graphic designer create visual concepts by hand or by computer software. They develop the overall design production of advertisements, magazines and reports.

If  they have a company with clients, they must follow the design that his or her clients want.

Salary:

Education:You must at least get a bachelor's degree. Earning a certificate or associate's degree in graphic design may qualify graduates for assistant or technical support positions in the field.

                       The meaning of this quote is that many people feel the happiest person alive when they have the people they love with them. The rich and wealth people love money and feel they feel complete but not happy. But those kind of people do not realize that when all their money is gone and have nothing left to make them happy. Anything can happen and your money could be robed, lost, you can be in an accident and can even be wasted. Meanwhile another person that has their family or loved ones they can be poor without money and a job but they can still be happy because they have someone that supports them and has their back and they are truly wealthy with all that love in their heart. Wealth does not come from a purse, a bank, and wallet because they can be the most richest, meanest people but they are not always the happiest. The wealthy people live under a dream of some sort because they do not know reality, they think that with money they can fix anything, they also feel a that they had power to be controlling other. Everybody has a reason to live and some people believe that they live to protect their family's and other think they live for the money.                 Dental Assistant

Duties and responsibilities: “Dental assistants perform a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties, and often work chair-side as dentists examine and treat patients. They make patients as comfortable as possible in the dental chair, prepare them for treatment, and obtain their dental records.”( www.snagojob.com )

Salary: $34,730 as of August 2016   $30,824-$38,397,

Education:You need to have formal education through academic programs in community college or in other programs. In some states they do not require formal education certifacate.

Demand or need for this profession: You must take a test that is required and must pass this test. The graduates usually get certificate and take at leas 9 -11 months to complete.

Reflection:I would not like to become a dental assistant because i am not a very patient person and would not be able to handle this job. This also not one of my career interest so I would think I would not like and enjoy this job.

             When you do or say something good you feel good because you know that you chose the right and did or said something. If you do something bad or said something bad, you feel bad because you know you did not do good in doing something or saying something. For example if you study for a test and got a good grade, you feel good because you know you earned that grade. If you do not study and got a bad grade you feel bad because you regret not taking the time to study. When you do good you have no regrets and when you did something bad you regret it. You get what you earned and feel good after, its your decision to do the right or do the wrong. You actions will count as a part of you and you will have good or bad feeling. It matters because if you did something good or bad for a person they will also feel something towards you either gratitude or hatred.You must take responsibility to do the right thing and you regret if you do the wrong. "WHEN YOU DO GOOD, I FEEL GOOD. WHEN I DO BAD, I FEEL BAD."

   

Chiropractor

Duties and Responsibilities:

Chiropractor are health care providers that treat patients that have problems related to the bones, muscles,ligaments and tendons. These specialist usually work in a private practice or health care clinic or facility.

Salary:    

              $31.81 an hour

              $ 66,160 annual

Education:

A chiropractor must have a doctor chiropractic degree and it usually takes about four years to complete.

Demand for this profession:

“Educational  and licensing requirements for doctors of chiropractic  are  the most stringent of any of the health care profession. DCs are educated in nationally accredited, four-year doctoral graduate school programs  through a curriculum that includes a minimum of 4,200 hours of classroom, laboratory and clinical internship,  with the average DC program equivalent in classroom hours to allopathic (MD) and osteopathic (DO) medical schools.” (www.acatoday.com)

                     If we listen to what we've been told and do what needs to be done we will be rewarded by our freedom. We always have to choose the right because if we don't we might hurt other people and their will be consequences and our freedom will be limited or taken away. If we are obedient we will have more freedom and will have something to live for. If you don't do the correct thing it might all affect you sooner or later. You choose who you want to be either obedient or disobedient. The choice is yours to make all you have to do is obey and once your 18 you decide if you want to keep going or stop. Obedience is the key to freedom and if you want your freedom just be obedient.  Keep calm and  Choose the right and obey.

n the early morning of Sept. 11, 2001, hijackers flew plans into the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia near the United States capital of Washington, D.C. A third plane crashed into a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. It is thought that the plane was intended to crash into either the White House or the Capitol in Washington, D.C. New York City’s tallest skyscraper along with the National September 11 Memorial & Museum were built on the site of the former World Trade Center buildings that were destroyed in the attack.
  

   The people who were on the planes that were hijacked were killed and it was 2,600 people. In the city there were 3,000 people dead and then 6,000 people hurt. There was almost 300 firefighters dead and when the police went out and try to find people who were still alive among all the corrupted buildings. It was 9:59 when the first tower collapsed and then it was 10:28 when the second tower collapsed.

Almost 300 firefighters died and when the police department was cleaning up they tried to find some people that were still alive from the attack.It was 9:59 when the first tower collapsed and then it was 10:28 when the second tower collapsed. 

When the twin towers collapsed it cached 3 more buildings on fire as well then one of the build collapsed as well. 

 

                         "Obedience is the great test of life"

             This quote means that life is a test and this test depends on what kind of obedient person are you.  Once your 18 you start seeing things differently and would notice that you have to start being more obedient. Once your an adult and have to follow the law, so maybe you don't have to be so obedient to your parents but to other rules yes. This is a test you want to pass because then you will be miserable. You may have different believes but maybe you want to be obedient to many different thing, and people. It is important you follow all the expectations and be obedient. This life is a test and obedience is the grade. You decide who you want to obey. Obedience and dissidence is your choice.
