Emergency Medical Technician
Duties and responsibilities:  The emergency medical technician has three stages an it depends on your skills. The first one is Basic and you have to
  • Controlling bleeding
  • Bandaging injuries
  • Splinting broken bones  
  • Using automated external defibrillators
Then is intermediate
  • Cardiac monitoring
  • Administering IV treatment
  • Performing advanced airway techniques
The last one is that is is a paramedic, Evaluating medical record, Providing  blood transfusion And  perform nasogastric
Salary:   $32,951 and a  Range between $29,697 - $37,780
Education:
Many community colleges also offer associate's degree programs at the paramedic level. In general, basic and intermediate emergency medical technician training can be completed in six months, while paramedic training may take one to two years to complete, depending on whether you choose to earn a certificate or an associate's degree.
Demand or need for profession:
Most states require you to complete a certificate program in emergency medical technician training in order to qualify for state or national certification exams.
