"Act well  your part; there all honor lies."

                                                       

If you do your part and help your family, yourself and others you are doing whats right and that shows honorable intentions. If you act the right way you will have honor becasue you are doing good and deserve to be respected or trusted but if you act the wrong way, you will suffer the consequences becasue either you lied cheated or did something wrong to earn that trust or respect. You have to earn your title if good or bad person and you have to show that you can be respected and trusted but have to be honest about your actions.
