Optician

Duties and Responsibilities: 

An Optician will dispense and fit spectacles to other optical aids, to his or her work/patients and working with prescriptions that are made by a optometrits and ophthalmologists.

• Duties
• "order lenses from prescription houses;
• check lenses on delivery to ensure that they meet the required specifications;
• arrange and maintain shop displays;
• liaise with sales representatives from vision care product suppliers;
• supervise and train trainee dispensing opticians."

Salary:  

34,840 a year

Education: 

Bachelors degree, some state license, must take classes like, Physics, algebra, trigonometry,business management, optics and eye physiology.
